Automated robotic cell for inserting fleeces
The robotic cell equipped with the KUKA KR10 R1100 manipulator is optimized for the implementation of the fleece insertion process.
Automation of the Engel 500 injection molding machine - The Fanuc LR Mate 200iD/4S robot takes 4 plastic clips from the vibrating feeder and inserts them into the plastic moldings. Using a vacuum sensor and the position of the robot, the correct placement of the clip is checked in all positions. After the clipping process, the Sepro manipulator places the moldings in the desired order on the output conveyor.
Automation of the Engel 550 injection molding machine - A pair of Fanuc robots mounts 2 of metal clips into plastic moldings. The first of the pair gradually removes larger clips from the vibrating strip and prepares them into the clipping beds. It then takes over two moldings from the manipulator and places them in the designated area where they are locked and the prepared clips are pressed by pneumatic cylinders. Then, robot no. 2 steps in to incrementally mount 8 smaller clips into each part. The correct placement of the clips is ensured by inductive sensors. After the parts are released, robot no. 1 takes them and gradually stacks them on the output conveyor.
We especially appreciate the professional approach from assignment to installation, attention to detail, and the flexibility which is essential in automotive projects.
